The Explanation
of the Creation of DeKalbHighSchool.com
It all started when
Zack Healey, the founder of DeKalbHighSchool.com, was looking for information
on his upcoming class reunion. To his surprise, there was no such information
to be found anywhere, including the Internet!
Knowing that many people
would like to contact old friends and classmates, they had no collective
way to find them. Healey wanted to give people that opportunity.
With the idea of being
a hobby, DeKalbHighSchool.com was founded in the year 2000.
Since then, many class
reunion planners have decided that due to the difficulty of finding and
maintaining their classmate's information, they would make the
DeKalbHighSchool.com web site their official way of finding and contacting
their class. They are telling everyone in their class to go to our site to
register for free.
This site is also useful
in staying "in-the-know" when it comes to classmates in your class. When
there is a special event, we can e-mail you about it.
What a great web site!
So simple, so effective, and yet so valuable to its many members; who reside
all over the world. While most are still in their home areas, some are in
the military, involved in company or personal relocations, and some were
foreign exchange students.
This site was created
in order to provide a way for classmates to find, contact, and reunite with
each other. We do this by providing a free profile for each alumnus registered
on our web site. We are supported solely by advertisements and
volunteers.
